Hi All,
Some great news, the growth rate for Canada overall is certainly slowing. Rather than tripling each week we are now less than doubling.

Indeed, in British Columbia the amount of active cases has remained flat.

Looking at the comparison across provinces. Quebec is still in trouble. Ontario and possibly Nova Scotia is starting to grow. But the rest of the provinces are doing well.

Unfortunately the rate of testing has not managed to increase. Thus in the provinces that have increasing active cases, notably Quebec and Ontario, cases are outstripping their testing capacity which is becoming solely for confirmation purposes rather than a proactive diagnostic.

The real issue in British Columbia, as in Ontario, is we have a high death rate due to outbreaks in seniors residences.

Oh, I do have to give a shout out to New Brunswick who are taking this very seriously and thus have had no deaths and the lowest case rate (half that of BC) in the country.
Cheers
Cliff
