Just in case you have not seen it or have only seen excerpts, here is the full speech that was given in BC by NFLDs-x premier, the Right Honourable Brian Peckford, concerning Canada's Charter of Rights (below are two postings that have been forwarded to me - I have not looked into anything else on these pages).
For those still using FaceBook (just click on the picture):
And on the Tube:
In short, Canada needs to figure out how to drop our current State(s) of Emergency ( Thought of the Day - December 8 2021 - Canada's States of Emergency ) knowing that most of the mandates that were enacted during the pandemic are not legal under our normal state of law. BC remains the only province no longer under Emergency Measures as carried-over orders and regulations are slowly repealed.
Basically, Canada MUST eliminate COVID restrictions if we are to return to a non-emergency state, however, to this point we have made very little progress. Indeed I guess next we will see cities following Ottawa's lead and declaring the need to grant themselves extraordinary powers. All this will take even longer to unwind.
Cheers
Cliff
