Thought of the Day - July 14 2021 - A Reason to Not Get Vaccinated?

Updated: Jul 16, 2021

To round out Monday's article concerning the reasons people get vaccinated ( Thought of the Day - July 12 2021 - Vaccination; A Selfish Act ) I thought I would present one of the reasons given as to why you should not get vaccinated.

The other day I was told one of the most fantastical stories suggesting that vaccination accelerates the spread of the virus. Moreover that you should also steer clear of anyone who has been freshly vaccinated.

Why? Welp, here goes !

If you have ever dusted a cat for fleas or put on a flea collar, you know the flea powder drives the fleas away. The desperate fleas "jump", looking for a nearby "host" (good chance this is where fleas get their name). And the same must be true for SARS-Cov-2 viruses, right?

So, just in case you missed it. The reason to steer clear of people who have been freshly vaccinated is not that their "preoccupied" immune system means a higher chance of contracting COVID, it is because their consequent "shedding of the inoculum" poses a risk to all those in the vicinity.

Who makes this stuff up?

Cheers

Cliff
