Hi All,
If you head down to Burnaby Lake you will see the following signs. Only in BC would we think to use the length of a fully grown cougar to help explain how long two meters is.
At least we do not have any American tourists here at the moment, as boy would they be confused!

Of course for our American friends we could always use an eagle.
Course you can always use the Save-On-Foods universal Internet unit of measure - the Banana !
I didn't know a full length cougar was 2 meters long. I hope that is a trivia question that comes my way.
