I saw an ad the other day for Buckley's for Dry Cough. Wow, I thought, I will look a little deeper, check in to this new Buckley's formulation. With dry cough as one of the predominant COVID symptoms maybe they have introduced products that focus on COVID.

And guess what I found. They have simply added a page to their site: https://www.buckleys.ca/words-of-wisdom/5-ways-to-stop-dry-cough/ that gives the following advice:

It talks about "fast, effective dry cough syrup, lozenges and cough medicine" except there are no such products. When you do a search on their site for "dry" and all you see is that "dry cough" has been added in the descriptions of almost all of their products. There is no new formulation, there is no Buckley's for Dry Cough, it is all about marketing.
Pure marketing genius from GlaxoSmithKlein. I guess that is why they have another page on their site: https://www.buckleys.ca/about-buckleys/award-winning-advertising/
