With the Phase III reopening (ahead of Phase IV mass gatherings, live audience sports, international tourists etc.) public attractions have now reopened. Wondering what to do with the family ahead of "school"? Why not consider one of the following:
Science World opened to the public on August 1st. While you need to book in advance, and of course social distancing is enforced, all attractions are open;
The Greater Vancouver Zoo, which has see renovation in 2020, is open with a one-way system;
The PNE is open with drive-by exhibits, and Playland now has extended hours into the evening;
The Vancouver Aquarium - book in advance and remember your face mask;
How about the Vancouver Art Gallery? I hear you can bring your own wine;
VanDusen Botanical Garden, and on the Island, Butchard, which I visited at the beginning of the month for the first time, are also open.
Oh, and by the way, remember when you are travelling to one of the attractions, that masks are now mandatory on public transport starting today!
Cheers
Cliff
