At the same time as we started our blog back in March, a ten year-old in the UK started to sleep in a tent. It was a tent that his neighbour Rick had given him, before he died. Max decided to have an adventure to raise money for the North Devon Hospice who had been caring for Rick. Many fundraising events have been cancelled due to COVID-19 and they, like many charitable organizations, were missing out on vital funds.

“It's fun but very hard, the weather, the wildlife, they prove a massive challenge." Max is now on his fifth tent; he had to trade up after the canvas on Rick's lost its waterproof coating.
Max blogs every couple of weeks. His most recent post was from November 28th, over 250 days after he started his vigil. He has now raised over £90,000 ($150k). He says he is going for a year. Sounds like a good target, I will be right with you Max.
Cheers
Cliff
