Well here we are - the first month of 2021 has flown by.
January marked the one-year anniversary of the first cases in Canada and in BC, as well as a year since I started taking a keen interest in the Novel Corona Virus. The WHO delegation has finally started their groundwork in China searching for the origin. Moreover, the lessons from a hundred years ago have now fully sunk in.
The Blog Timeline is updated with the January happenings. Here is a link to a well-presented timeline from CTV News - Scroll-Through Timeline of the 1st Year of COVID-19 in BC.
More significantly, January marked the turning point in the second wave across much of Canada, as well as the ramp-up of mass vaccinations across the country, with over a hundred-thousand Canadians now fully vaccinated - something the folk a hundred years ago could not fall back on.
We are off to a good start in 2021.
Cheers
Cliff
