Thought Of The Day - Good Work Coming from Asia

Hi All,

It looks like a number of countries in Asia have cracked the Covid-19 testing issues.

For example:

- On the “do you have it” (antigen) side Thailand has a drive-through test centre center at Vibhavadi Hospital in Bangkok. The test involves a nasal and throat swab with results expected between 5 to 7 days.

- While on the “have you had it” (antibody) side Singapore has been using a test in its contact tracing pursuits since the end of February. These are also widely used in South Korea and China.

We just have to hope, unlike the bad advice give by our chief medical officer the other day concerning the use of masks, that we follow the lead of other countries and move rapidly to adopt some of these systems.
