Thought of the Day - January 21 - One More Chance

In case you missed the chance in December to see the DuPlessis Christmas display ( Thought of the Day - December 4 - 'tis the Season ) and were disappointed when they were shut down on Boxing Day by the RCMP due to "excessive congregation leading to traffic disruptions", you will be happy to know that earlier this month the display was turned back on.

The reason for the note, with the so-called "Polar Vortex" arriving in the Vancouver area, we might just see a frost and sprinkling of snow that will make the exhibit even more spectacular. The DuPlessis are kind enough to keep the display "lit-up" until the end of the month. So, ring in some "New Year's Good Cheer" and make sure to go for a neigbouhood walk with the family/bubble down to Burnlake. A little exercise and a destination, what's not to like! Don't forget to enable your FM app on your phone so you can hear the accompanying music and bring some change to donate to a good cause.
