Good news from Burnaby as of late.
This graphic is the most recent available from Fraser Health from the beginning of the month. As you can see active COVID-19 cases are now down in the double digits.

And here is another graphical comparison with other neighbourhoods from late May.

While Burnaby Northeast has the highest case and positivity rate in Burnaby by far, the most recent data (June 7) says that there were only seven new cases reported in-the-hood over this past week.
Burnaby Northeast's first-dose vaccination rates are the highest in Burnaby and ahead of the 65% provincial average. Here the rate is now over 70% (this percentage is of the total population, not the "adjusted" figures or percentage of those eligible now being quoted by Tam); just five percent shy of the Trudeau reopening target of 75%. For the first time, the number of people receiving a second dose of a vaccine is higher than the number of those who received their initial dose; here in Burnaby, we are halfway to the Trudeau-target of 20%.

Above is the Burnaby Restart map showing which municipal facilities in the area are fully operational (green), those open with restrictions (yellow) and those still closed (red). I am sure there will be more to come as of June 15th.
Cheers
Cliff
