Thought of the Day - June 25 - Happy Phase 3 BC !

Happy Phase-3 neighbours, friends and fellow BCers. After a week with about 75 new cases and three deaths, Phase-3 has arrived. This means the implementation of the new normal for all but the highest risk groups and venues.

Now the tourism and entertainment sectors can start opening:

• Hotels and Resorts

• Parks – broader reopening, including some overnight camping

• Film industry – beginning with domestic productions

• Select entertainment – movies and symphony, but not large concerts

The new phase allows for non-essential travel within the province and for hotels, resorts, RV parks and other accommodations to resume operating, as well as some overnight camping.

“As we carefully turn up the dial on our activity, we can now look to travel safely around the province,” Horgan said, along with the note "travellers must respect travel advisories to remote communities".

The province has also announced it is extending its state of emergency for an additional two weeks.
