If you are a regular reader of the blog you can probably sense I am concerned by many of our "medical experts", "politicians" and "administrators" who are bungling their way through this pandemic. Notably, I have not found much on which to criticize BC's Dr. Bonnie Henry; quite a feat for someone who is in the firing line day after day.
Gail passed on this article from the New York Times that starts:
The Top Doctor Who Aced the Coronavirus Test
Dr. Bonnie Henry kept the disease in check in British Columbia without harsh enforcement methods. Now, she is leading the way out of lockdown. British Columbia’s provincial health officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, has won praise for minimizing the impact of Covid-19 on the province.
Not sure how this expose came to be, but here is the link to the full article: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/05/world/canada/bonnie-henry-british-columbia-coronavirus.html from Catherine Porter NYT's Canada Bureau Chief.
Something that Doctor Bonnie Henry, and indeed all BCers should be proud.
Cheers
Cliff

"BoHenry" tees pay yet more tribute to Dr. Bonnie Henry to raise funds for DTES Women's Centre.
The retro gold T-shirts are a collab between East Van's Jackson's General Store and Visual Thoughts. The tribute to provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry comes in bright vintage yellow emblazoned with familiar red-and-brown "BoHenry!" and sells for $25. The tagline: "Calm. Kind. Packed with Guts!"
Cheers
