Thought of the Day - March 1 2022 - The Spring Month Commences

Here we are, Tuesday the first day of March. March is the month when spring commences. What better time for the great COVID reopening.

We mentioned yesterday that venues here in Mexico are still using thermal guns as a test for COVID; this never really worked and is even more irrelevant with the Omicron variant. A new study from the UK claims that two of the most common Omicron-based infection signs besides cold-like symptoms, are pains in the legs and shoulders - you heard it here first. In short, forget all you knew, or were told about COVID-19, this is no longer the disease that we first encountered, at least from the human physiological perspective anyway.

Most provinces have now ended COVID legal restrictions - and yes there are few exceptions. The amazing thing, for me, is how early-on when writing the blog I found it frustrating people were not taking COVID seriously. But now quite the opposite is true. I am stunned how many people feel COVID should continue to dictate their lives even though with Omicron the risk has now become much more in line with seasonal-flu.
