Thought of the Day - March 10 2022 - So Here We Are

So here we are, the blog is coming up on two years with over 600 posts. I have decided to wind it down on its anniversary, March 16th 2022.

It has been an amazing ride!

The first six months were talking about how significant SARS-CoV-2 would be, how it would change our lives, and ideas on how we could best cope.

The second six months highlighted some of the amazing responses from around the world, people coming together with new options to address the ongoing pandemic waves.

The next six months saw more and more misinformation, largely for financial gain, and, unfortunately, in many areas, we discovered that solutions had been overpromised and underdelivered.

The last few months the realization has been the only way to really end this pandemic is to put pandemic thinking behind us, to move on with our lives.

Yes, this summary is overly simplistic. And, yes, I have been as selfish as anyone during the pandemic in using the blog as a form of self-exploration. But through it all friends, family and neighbours, whether as contributors or readers, have been so wonderful.

That said, stay tuned there are still more articles to come in the week ahead.
