Thought of the Day - March 5 - What Day Is It?

Guess what today is? Employee Appreciation Day and National Day of Unplugging (well at least in the USA - you can tell by the clumsy wording). So I guess today is also National Paradox Day. With so many folks working from home, when unplugged how the heck will a boss or employer be able to tell them how much they are appreciated? Just another COVID complication I guess.


While we are at it, I tried to compile a list of the remaining days, weeks and months, in March. Just in case you are looking for inspiration for a new cause, pursuit or celebration I present:

As you can see the majority of these relate to health and humanitarian pursuits (admittedly I did omit a number of the "Blatant Marketing Day" days - such as Oreo Cookie day). It is going to be interesting to see, in the years to come following COVID, whether we introduce Pandemic Prevention Month, Coronavirus Awareness Day, or India's Vaccination Day becomes global.
