Thought of the Day - November 8 2021 - When Is A Vaccine NOT a Vaccine?

Now I am starting to see glimpses of the ongoing scramble, driven by adverse reactions to vaccine mandates, behind the scenes. Specifically, shoring up in preparation for the ongoing legal challenges.
It seems the US CDC has been busy changing the definition of a vaccine.

I assume the first change, made some years ago, was anticipating the introduction of mRNA vaccines. As Charles Munger is quoted “Show me the incentives and I will show you the outcome.” only backward.
The second change is much more obvious, a response to the lacklustre immunity performance of COVID vaccines.
Looking to Health Canada, I see they are not quite as nimble. According to their website, they are still sticking to the original definition.

While here in BC, we are more on the ball with changing policy. We also updated our vaccine definitions back in September, on the 15th to be precise.

Just food for thought.
Cheers
Cliff
